A book-to-board study based on a chapter of my favorite childhood book series, Peter and the Starcatchers, by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson.After their ship was wrecked in an encounter with pirates, two sailors find themselves washed up on an island—while Peter and the lost boys are elsewhere. The sailors Little Richard and Mr. Slank are searching for a magical treasure that was aboard their ship, and are about to discover what happens when said treasure washes up in a lagoon and leaks magic onto the fish living within it.

During the Spring of 2024 I participated in my first Warrior Art Camp course! This course went over Storyboarding and Development, hosted by Kayla Carlisle.Minnie’s Wrapping Department is a comedic audio recreation assignment. Audio is from I Love Lucy’s chocolate factory episode. I was inspired by jokes about Mickey Mouse being “big brother,” but what about his lady? They’re a match made in… somewhere magical, I guess :)
